How to Keep Your Office Organized
April 27, 2016

If you’re on a job search, I recommend following our career consulting blogs – we’ve got some great tips ranging from “6 Steps to Start Your Job Search” to “4 Ways to Improve Your LinkedIn Profile”.

We also offer career consulting services for those who would like some more individualized support to help find a new opportunity.

One of the services we offer is the Strong Interest Inventory, and we’ve previously shared 3 reasons you might want to take it.

But instead of ME telling you why this career assessment is helpful, I’ve asked some former career consulting clients how the Strong helped them on their search:

A mid-career professional looking to get out of the education industry and utilize her leadership academy training in a different field:

“The Strong proved that I am a people person and that I enjoy a lot of variety!  It helped me tailor my search and I’ve recently started working full-time for a political campaign.  This new position is a match for my desire to have variety to my day and a lot of interpersonal interaction.”

An early-career professional seeking a pivot position – something a bit different from what he is currently doing – but not sure what:

“The Strong was very helpful to me understanding where my career path might take me.  There were a few careers listed that I never thought about before, but after meeting and discussing the opportunities, I was more open to trying different things within those paths.”

A mid-career professional not sure of the next step to take in her career path, considering a lot of different options and finally choosing to purchase her own franchise after taking the Strong:

“The Strong really helped give me a boost of confidence in the ownership direction. I believe one of the top careers listed was insurance agent. That idea of my strengths being associated with a sales role and owning my own business pushed me in the right direction.”

We’d love to help you figure out your next career move – contact us if you’d like to learn more!
