Successful organizations know the impact the new employee experience can have on driving business results. Did you know that only 13% of employees are engaged in their work? Why is this? How can we change this? One way is to create a better onboarding program that will drive employee results.

Why does onboarding matter? It has so many positive business impacts! A company that has a good onboarding program will see:

  • Reduction in turnover
  • Reduction in time to productivity
  • Reduction in errors or accidents with new employees
  • Increase in sales
  • Improved customer satisfaction

Who doesn’t want these things?!

If you think your company needs a better onboarding program, start with asking the question, what are you trying to accomplish with your onboarding program? You can then begin to identify things that are important to you and your company.

Another tip is to track your progress. Think about employee metrics you can measure and maybe even broadcast them to the team to celebrate when you reach your goal!
