Did you know that 87% of employees aren’t committed to a new job for the first 6 months? This is why onboarding matters! A good onboarding program has many benefits. Some examples are:

  • Reduction in employee turnover
  • Reduction in time to productivity
  • Reduction in errors and accidents among new employees
  • Increased sales in 30, 60, and 90 days
  • Improved customer satisfaction

Here are 3 very simple things that you should do to make sure you have the best onboarding program you can!

1. Set a goal

Think about what you are trying to accomplish with your onboarding program. If you don’t have a goal, you will most likely not be successful.

2. Track your progress

You can’t see if you’re reaching your goal if you don’t come up with metrics to track your progress.

3. Celebrate

Go out to dinner with the team and celebrate the win when you meet your goal!
