Our Client’s Situation

For several months, Purple Ink filled in part-time in an HR Manager role for one of our service clients.  The client was growing its team and needed stability in HR to support recruiting, onboarding, training, and benefits administration.  They had a junior HR Generalist that was amazing in her role and we appreciated the opportunity to mentor her.  Our relationship continued to strengthen with this client as they began to talk about an acquisition.

It was nearing the end of 2019, and our client had continued discussions about the possibility of selling to a larger organization.  This topic always causes stress, whether the employer is transparent along the way or whether they surprise everyone last minute.  The full-time HR Generalist worked tirelessly to get all of the necessary information gathered and shared with upper management.  She also continued to recruit and lead the organization by her positive example. 

In early 2020, the transaction happened quickly, and soon HR was found to be no longer supported by their parent company.  They needed support for benefits and leave administration.

Our Solution

Through our JoyPowered® Purple Ink approach, we immediately identified the need to extend our team with this client.  Purple Ink stepped up and quickly worked with the leave vendor to download all active and pending cases. 

The Result

This was a challenging time of change for our client. We were able to utilize our onsite knowledge as well as our compliance team to eliminate any errors and keep consistency for managers and team members that needed leave during this time.  Although the transition happened swiftly and the new organization rolled out a different leave vendor, we were able to assist in transitioning the files to the new vendor.
