Purple Ink celebrated our 10th anniversary in 2020! This year certainly didn’t go exactly as expected, but fortunately, we were still able to do some celebrating.

Our First 10 Years by the Numbers

One of the first things we did was look back at some of the statistics from our first 10 years. Just in case you missed our social media posts, here are some of our accomplishments in our first decade:

  • Over 16,000 candidates applied for our clients’ job openings
  • We helped over 1,500 people on the path to excellence through CliftonStrengths®
  • We served clients in over 55 industries – the most common were Nonprofit, Education, Financial Services, Insurance, and Construction
  • We spent over 14,000 hours onsite with outsourcing clients
  • We recruited for organizations in over 45 industries – the most common were Construction, Health Care, Professional Services, and Nonprofit

We couldn’t have gotten here without our clients, so we wanted to celebrate some of the successes our services have helped them achieve in the last 10 years. Telling Our Story

We asked some of our team members, clients, and friends to help us tell the stories of our first 10 years through 15 videos. The result was 15 short videos (recorded pre-Covid) that we’ve shared on our social media and in our email newsletter throughout the year. Honoring Our Strengths

We thought our 10th anniversary would be a great opportunity to show off our team’s 10 most common CliftonStrengths® themes! We’ve been sharing these on our social media accounts throughout the year, too. They are:

Helping Others Embrace Their Strengths

We wanted to celebrate our anniversary by sharing our favorite assessment: CliftonStrengths®! We had two CliftonStrengths® workshops planned to take place this year at our office, the ink pad. Like everyone organizing events this year, our plans were derailed a bit by the Covid-19 pandemic, but fortunately, we were able to move them to an online format using Zoom. There were some upsides to the format change, though. Going virtual made it easier for people outside of the Indianapolis area to join us, and we were able to accommodate more people than we could fit in the ink pad. We missed seeing everyone in person, but ultimately, we thought our workshops went great! (Although we may be biased)

Throughout the tough times in 2020, it’s been nice to have something to celebrate. Thanks to all of our friends, clients, and partners for supporting us and being a part of our first decade!
