Ever since I was in kindergarten, I loved to talk. I loved to talk to people, regardless if they’re the same age, older, what have you. I was just very talkative, whether it’s just socializing, telling stories, or what have you. I recall some of my teachers, especially, writing and putting on my report cards that Jeremy has a tendency to socialize a little bit too much with others.

Well, while my teachers viewed that as a bad thing, I never did, because I always loved to share information and I always loved to connect with other people. And that’s one of the reasons why I like to, you know, speak publicly and to be able to present information and share what I know to help others be more and know more.

You know, some of my favorite topics to speak on have to do with, I don’t know, leadership, inclusion, people management, and really being JoyPowered®. About connecting and being a part of something greater, right?

We all want to feel like we’re included, and we all want to be a part of something that’s important. So if we can, you know, be passionate about what we do… you know, I’m passionate about the work that we all perform in HR. And why? That’s because I believe that we have the ability to be able to impact people on a daily basis. We can impact so many lives and be able to help people excel at what they do.

That is a great achievement, to be able to help people be at their best. And that’s about leadership. That’s about understanding ourselves, understanding other people, and being accepting of what others have to bring to the table and also accepting our differences and knowing that those things are okay.
