Workshops for Strengthening Teams

CliftonStrengths® 1: Name, Claim, and Aim Your Strengths!

Gallup researchers have spent 50 years studying the secret to success, excellence and world-class performance. Their conclusion: Leverage your strengths! Companies, organizations and institutions are gradually transforming their workplaces from weakness-fixing to strengths-based cultures. In this workshop you will explore the theory behind the CliftonStrengths® assessment, how to understand your own Signature Strengths, and how to leverage strengths (yours and others) personally and professionally to achieve your greatest potential in the workplace. Discover why over 22,000,000 people have taken the CliftonStrengths® assessment and how it is leading to greater employee engagement in the workplace.

CliftonStrengths® 2: The Power of Strengths in Team Collaboration

Once employees have a solid sense of the value of their unique strengths, they are ready to leverage this power to create well-rounded teams of excellence in the workplace! CliftonStrengths® 2 takes a deep dive into the four domains of team strengths (executing, influencing, relationship building, strategic thinking) and the critical role these domains play in achieving success. Mutual appreciation for the value of individual strengths for the benefit of the whole transforms teams into an effective organism capable of world-class performance.

Effective Workplace Communication: Navigating Situations, Styles, and Generational Differences

Never before have we seen as many as five generations working together in the workplace.  Understanding a variety of communication preferences and methods is essential to keep work running smoothly.  During this program, participants will learn some defining characteristics about each generation, the many different devices of communication that are available at work, and when different methods are most appropriate for the message that needs to be relayed and why.

Using Creativity to Solve Problems

“Who, me? But, I’m not at all creative!” How often do you hear those words? Studies show that most adults use no more than a fraction, perhaps 10%, of their creative potential each day. Creativity is not something we’re born with; it isn’t a talent or a strength; and it’s rarely a requirement for hire. But it certainly is necessary to achieve success and excellence in your work! The good news is that creativity is a skill that can be learned and developed. A combination of knowledge, imagination and evaluation, creativity flows from the right information, combined with the natural talents of every individual. Through this workshop, you will tap into your unique creative potential and learn how to put creativity to work, especially in the area of problem solving.

Working Remotely: How to Optimize the Experience for Greater Productivity & Collaboration

Have you heard the phrase, “Out of sight, out of mind?” Too often, that’s how remote employees are described. Just because they’re not physically present doesn't mean they should be left out of important conversations, projects and even culture-building activities. Collaboration in a remote workforce can be a challenge for both the manager and the employee, as well as the entire team. But, it can be done successfully. During this session, participants will learn defining characteristics of the remote team, many different communication devices available to make virtual work successful, when different methods are most appropriate, and the importance of collaboration. Participants will learn the importance of making communication with their team members seamless, cultivating social interaction and scheduling regular visits to maximize the performance of the remote team.
